So far...

My assignment is going really well. I have almost finished the filming and will soon be able to put it all in one iStop and then put the music and voices on it in Garage Band.

So far I have completed:

Progress Reflection

Last lesson I did some filming with iStop but chose to do something different then what I had planned... In my movie I was going to use the cutout pieces of paper and move them around etc. However I am now thinking to do that but also something else. Last lesson I did a few if the writing/story telling scenes writte in a writing book. I used the effects of writing one letter at a time and capturing it. Once the writing on that page was done I took continuous pictures of the page flipping over to go to the next page.

I think I will continue doing this with the writing scenes and using the cutout pieces of paper for the drawing scenes of the girl.

Progress Reflection

I have been away for the past 1-2 of our Creative Media lessons, so today I thought I would update my blog as tomorrow I will not have time in class, due to us all sharing 'rushes' of our movies.

For the 'rushes' we are to show small scenes from our movie that we have done so far. I will be showing my scene one and two as thats what I have gotten up to so far and finished.

Scene Two (trial)

I trialled my scene two video, however I decided to re-do it, as around the eyes, nose and mouth you can see the shadow of the piece of paper. I have learnt from the mistake and am glad I have watched it and decided to re-do that scene because it will make my movie look better.

Scene One

After trialling different ways and talking to Mr Powell (a lot) I have found a way of doing my movie so as Mr Powell says, "gives it complexity..". I have decided to cut out each letter and make them come from bunched up to then slide out into the sentences of One Sunny Day. I am really happy with it and makes it a lot more interesting- even if it does require a little bit more patience and time!

Scene One started...

Today I was starting to work on scene one of my movie. However I need to re-do it because my hand is in it at the start. I will have to get some more A3 paper and bring it in next lesson to continue. :)

Trialling

Today I was just working on different ways and practicing; for example I was trying out whether I should take individual frames on iStop Motion or put it onto the 'continuous' option which allows it to take continuous frames for x amount of seconds that you put it as. I am quite happy with my decision to work with my movie on iStop Motion.
